About Michelle Gilbert
Michelle began practicing yoga in 1997 as a way of managing stress and exploring her spirituality. She also developed an interest in Eastern philosophy, implementing a regular meditation practice.
During a challenging time in her life, Michelle learned firsthand the value of yoga and meditation as tools for personal evolution. Seeking an innovative application of her undergraduate psychology degree and moved deeply by her personal experience, she decided to enter the healing arts with a focus on the vision of East-West psychology, honoring the wisdom of both traditions.
As she progressed on her path, she found Reiki to be the perfect complement to her journey, working with subtle energies and the transformation that ensues.
Michelle's goal is to use both her personal experience and her training, as well as her intuitive and introspective yet lighthearted personality, to create a safe space for clients to explore their own strengths, needs, and ambitions. Michelle believes that anyone can practice yoga, and everyone has the birthright to discover and manifest their soul's greatest gifts.
In her spare time, she enjoys exploring and photographing nature; all of the photos on this web site were taken by Michelle. She also enjoys cooking, especially international and gourmet vegetarian fare.
